When God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt, their journey of faith began. Eventually they reached Mount Sinai. There God showed them the way of life. Those who walk in this way remain in right relationship with God and others.
But at Mount Sinai they also had another lesson to learn: the lesson of faithfulness. At Mount Sinai, the people learned five aspects of faithfulness:
Accept God’s covenant.
Do not make idols for yourself.
Seek the good of others.
Keep longing for God’s presence.
Trust in God’s faithfulness.
